Martin Heubel
If you’ve been following the Amazon 1P space, you’ll know Martin as one of the sharpest minds in vendor strategy. Earlier this year, he ran an in-depth survey capturing vendor sentiment and expectations heading into the 2025 Amazon Vendor Negotiation cycle. Now, he’s back with a follow-up survey that reveals what actually happened — how negotiations unfolded, what changed, and what we can learn from it.

Ryan Craver
Ryan Craver is Co‑Founder and Chief Strategy & Data Officer at Podean, where he leads the firm’s strategic direction and data‑driven growth initiatives. With deep expertise in analytics, marketplace operations, and omnichannel retailing, Ryan helps brands navigate complex ecosystems and scale across Amazon, Walmart, and other major platforms. His passion lies in translating large datasets into actionable insights and aligning organizational strategy with emerging consumer behaviours. Prior to Podean, Ryan developed a strong foundation in e‑commerce consulting and marketplace optimisation, combining robust technical skills with business acumen to deliver measurable results for brands.
Paola Marzario
Paola Marzario is the founder and Chairwoman of BrandOn Group, an Italian‑based tech and e‑commerce firm that empowers brands to sell across global marketplaces. A law graduate from Bocconi University, she has built her career as a serial entrepreneur—founding her first company during her university years and exiting it in 2008, before launching BrandOn in 2012. With deep expertise in marketplace strategy, digital distribution and omnichannel growth, Paola has led BrandOn to become a recognised leader in European e‑commerce. She is also a senior partner at Consorzio Netcomm, mentors startup incubator teams, and is active in advancing women’s leadership in the digital commerce space.
Matthew Ulmer
Matthew Ulmer, based in Minneapolis, MN, US, is currently a SVP - Ecommerce, Sales Development and Sales Operations at C.A. Fortune. Matthew Ulmer brings experience from previous roles at C.A. Fortune, Nutiva and Manitoba Harvest Hemp Foods. Matthew Ulmer holds a 2002 - 2005 Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics @ Hamline University. With a robust skill set that includes AC Nielsen, IRI, Category Management, Nielsen, Demand Planning and more.
Nick Gezzar
Nick Gezzar is a results‑driven e‑commerce strategist and co‑founder of Flying Tiger. With a background that includes senior vendor and advertising roles at Amazon (including work with Apple and Beats by Dre) as well as brand management at Procter & Gamble and Lindt & Sprüngli, Nick blends big‑brand experience with entrepreneurial agility. He now leads strategy and growth for Flying Tiger, helping brands scale on marketplace platforms through data‑driven advertising and operational excellence.
James Wakefield
James Wakefield is the founder and Managing Director of WAKE Commerce, a London‑based Amazon‑specialist agency that empowers brands to fully capitalise on Vendor Central and e‑commerce opportunity. With over 18 years of experience in online retail—from launching an online photography magazine in 1998, to selling on eBay in 2001 and Amazon in 2003—James established WAKE in 2015 to marry his passion for data, branding and online retail strategy. His agency now supports consumer brands in streamlining their Amazon operations, recovering hidden revenue, and driving sustainable growth on the world’s biggest marketplace.
